If absent all students are responsible to go to my Google Classroom and follow all classwork & homework for the day absent and complete. I will leave all workbooks, notebooks and worksheets on the office bench for parent pick-up at 2:00 pm. All assignments are expected to be completed according to the School Student Handbook. Please remember to return with a written Absent Note.

PARENTS PLEASE READ:
As we discussed at the Parent Meet in September, the third grade students will be taking the New York State Tests online for the first time. They will definitely need typing practice! They will need to type paragraphs for ELA and type explanations to problems in Math. So beginning November 4, 2025 and for the rest of the school year, all spelling homework for grade 3 will be typed by the students, printed out at home and glued into their red dot spelling notebook. These typing assignments will prepare the students for the upcoming typing portions of the State Tests in April 2026.
1. The ELA State Test will be given over a 2 day period on April 13 & 14.
2. The Math State Test will also be given over a 2 day period on April 27-28.
