Welcome Back to School (2024-2025)
Welcome back to St. Patrick's School! I hope you had a wonderful summer vacation. This year, I am delighted to be your teacher and to follow you on your academic path. The new school year is a fresh beginning. Together, we will learn new things and create lasting memories. I am looking forward to meeting the new students and seeing the previous students. Let us make the 2024-2025 school year extraordinary!

Grade 5 had a wonderful first day. For now, I will be posting class reminders here until Google CR is set up. Once Google CR is up and running, all information will be posted there.
Please have all of the following completed by Monday, September, 9th:
1. ALL books covered in clear contact paper. Return all books to school.
2. ALL forms completed and returned. DO NOT unstaple the packet.
3. ALL student supplies and belongings need to be labeled by last name.
4. ALL summer work is to be completed and submitted.
*Tomorrow is a full day. We have Mass at 8:15. Please arrive to school on time. Students are to wear the same uniform as today.
***Please Note: All Students Will Be Marked Late As Of 8:00AM Each Day. We Begin Switching Classes At 8:05AM. A New School Policy Is Being Implemented Immediately. It You Arrive Late 3 Times, You Will Serve One Lunch Detention. More Than 3 Latenesses In Any Given Marking Quarter Will Result In Being Ineligible For Placement On The Honor Roll For That Marking Quarter.

-Pens (blue/black)
-Pens (1 red, 1 green)
-Pencils (sharpened)
-Highlighters (2 yellow) - other colors are optional
-Scissors
-Glue sticks (no liquid)
-Small stapler

-Pencil case
-Crayons (preferably 24 pack)
-Colored pencils
-5 subject notebook (ELA, Social Studies, Science, Religion, Spanish)
-2 marble notebooks (Math, Grammar)
-12 inch ruler
-1 pack of "Post It" notes (any color - this will be used for annotation)
-2 pocket folder
-2 packs of looseleaf paper (1 for home, 1 for class)
-assignment pad
-earbuds (optional)
-clear contact paper (for home to cover workbooks)
-Individual tissue packs (travel size - to keep in desk or schoolbag)
-Individual handsanitizer (travel size - to keep in desk or schoolbag)
-1 roll of paper towels
-1 bottle of hand sanitizer
-4 boxes of tissues
-2 clorox or cleaning wipes
-1 pack of construction paper (optional)
Grade 6 Going Into Grade 7 (ELA)
-Read Gathering Blue by Lois Lowry (The Giver is the first book. Gathering Blue is the second book in the Quartet.)
-Do all work on a document. DO NOT print your work.
-Your summer work assignment is due on 9/10/2024.
-You will submit your document in Google CR once it is set up in September. You will be
doing this with me in class.
