Hi Students,
Here is your second challenge.  I encourage everyone to try it. It's a fun one!
                  
Challenge # 2   Write a paragraph, which includes 6 facts explaining the differences and similarities of dolphins and porpoises.  Put the facts in your own words.  Remember to write in complete sentences.   Remember to indent and have an opening sentence.

The challenge is due by Monday 9/24 

Example of an opening sentence might be:
 Dolphins and porpoises have many similar traits but also differ in many ways. 

These are some questions to guide your facts:
Are they mammals?
Which is larger ?
Which one is faster?
What oceans would you most likely find them living in?
What are some physical differences in their appearances? 
Which one has the longer life span? 
** Don't forget to tell which one of the two is in the picture above .
Explain how you can tell. 

** Please add your own facts that interested you in your research.
** The challenge will count as extra credit in ELA and Science

 Uniform Alert:                                 
All students should have white sneakers and white socks when wearing  their spring uniforms.  "No Show" socks are not permitted.  This includes gym days.

Boys must wear their shirts tucked in with a belt with the spring shorts.
